Tawatinaw Valley Ski Hill, your destination for great family adventures. For ski, snowboard and winter enthusiasts , Tawatinaw Valley provides fun for everyone.
Our ski hill is located just off Highway 2, only 1 hour north of Edmonton and 50 minutes north of St. Albert. We offer down hill skiing, snowboarding, tubing, skating, snowshoeing and cross country skiing.

Access
Enjoy the trails & runs our 140 Acre hill has to offer. Our season pass includes lift passes for skiing, snowboarding, cross country & snowshoeing.
Note: Does NOT include tubing.

Cold Weather Policy
In the event of extreme weather conditions, Tawatinaw Valley may limit some facility operations. The decision to do so will be made on a daily basis according to the localized conditions at Tawatinaw Valley. Our website and social media will be updated regarding operating status as available.
The Temperature cutoff is “Feels Like -30°C” (including wind chill) anytime throughout operating hours. Day passes, rentals, etc. cancelled due to cold weather closures will be rescheduled or refunded.
For Lesson programs the temperature cutoff is “Feels Like -25°C” (including wind chill), as many of our lessons are with young children. Lessons cancelled due to cold weather closures will be rescheduled.
