FAMILY DAY CARDBOARD RACES

  1.  Maximum of 4 people per team.

  2. Teams must pre-register. $30/team entry fee.

  3. Maximum of 12 teams.

  4. Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

  5. Double elimination format -all teams guaranteed 2 races.

  6. 2:00 pm start time.

  7. Cardboard sleds can only be made with cardboard and duct tape.  Sled inspection by the bell at 1:00 pm.

  8. Participants MUST complete the Special Event Waiver at the hill when they check in. Minors MUST have their waivers signed by a parent/guardian.

  9. Races take place in the tube park; ski boots not allowed.

Operated by the non-profit Tawatinaw Valley Ski Club, Tawatinaw Valley promotes safe and healthy recreation for all ages and abilities. Our goal is to provide quality facilities and terrain, good customer experiences, fun programming and learning opportunities.​

Tawatinaw Valley is located just off Highway 2 only 1 hour north of Edmonton and 50 minutes north of St. Albert.  Our scenic location and fantastic facility offers the opportunity for a wide variety of outdoor adventures.
