Why do I have to wear a mask or face covering when I visit?

We want to be able to provide everyone with healthy, safe winter fun! A significant outbreak of COVID at a ski resort could result in shutting down the entire industry. We don’t want that to happen! We have been carefully following the Alberta government regulations and taking part in industry meetings that have developed Best Practices for Winter Ski Area Operations. During the industry meetings we examined what took place at resorts that had summer operations for hiking, biking, etc. These resorts found that it was impossible to guarantee physical distancing in buildings, in lift lines, on lifts or in lessons. This resulted in Ski Associations across North America developing position statements that masks or face coverings be mandatory in buildings, lift line, lifts and lessons. A mask or face covering will be required inside our chalet and rental shop. Masks or face coverings will also be required outside in ALL AREAS. Masks / face coverings may be removed when sitting at a table. (Persons ≤ 2 years of age will not be required to wear a mask or face covering). We understand that there are varying opinions on this subject. We respect your opinions and hope that you will respect that we are required to follow this policy and will be respectful to our staff and volunteers.

Please help us by following these practices.

Wear a mask or
face covering

Wash hands frequently

Stay 2m apart everywhere.

Including lift lines

Stay home if sick.
